Heavy metal music is a genre of rock music that emerged in the 1960s largely in the United Kingdom. Its fans are popularly known as “headbangers” or ‘metalheads”. There several genres within the heavy metal and some of them are Death metal, Doom metal, Christian metal, Extreme metal, Folk metal, Black metal, Alternative metal, Gothic metal among several others.
